Way to go Sandy!

Tamara got back to me today, she has forwarded my request to the tour manager for the Bangor show.  Here's hoping.  If I don't find a Joe fan for my extra seat I will look for someone to Bonabaptise!

Hey guys this kinda pertains to this topic since their isn't an NC date, understandable due to the small tour set, but here's the question.

Does Joe normally hit NC every year or so and if so what cities does he normally visit?

Joe has recently (2 years) played durham and charlotte. Also nearby, columbia and greenville sc and Chattanooga tn.

Thanks for the info.

Re: 3 Kings Summer Amphitheatre Tour

Tried the pre-sale for Shoreline in Mountain View, Ca. and repeatedly getting can't process request. This venue seats 22,500, so something is haywire with Live Nations system currently. More power to Joe if he sells this place out on his own. I and others who've been around here for years saw this coming!

Re: 3 Kings Summer Amphitheatre Tour

Has anyone had issues using the JB store tickets that come with the litho's for special concerts like this? And does anyone know what the P1 or P2 range would be at Red Rocks?  Really want to do the meet and greet and already have the Tour De Force blu-rays but if the seats are good might buy them again.

That is Price level 1 or Price level 2. All depends on how the venue is scaled. The special shows will have limited access for litho and box set tickets as I understand. You however do not know where your seats are till you pick up the tickets day of show at Will Call.

yup you will find out when you pick them up. I am not sure if it matters but I was first at will call this go around for Boston and I got 2 seats second row pit center. The people I gave them too were beside themselves. Other times the seats were awful

I used litho tickets for last years Red Rocks Muddy/Wolf show and had third row seats. Unfortunately, no M&G as the show was being filmed.

I used fan pack passes, and got 21st row at Red Rocks. Measuring on google maps, that's about 140 feet (43m) to front half of stage, center. I wouldn't do a trip again without knowing I'd be close enough to make it worthwhile. That's one downside to the artist reserve tickets, you don't know what you'll get until you get there.

Re: 3 Kings Summer Amphitheatre Tour

Using my Tour de Force tickets for 3 Kings in Bangor will hopefully work out.  A win just for getting to see this concert, another win if the seats are good.

Actually I get a third win out of this one since I will Bonabaptise my brother!  He has done a lot for me over the years, so this will be a small payback.  Of course it might have been his way for mending some of the crap when we were kids, I don't know!!  wink   Either way it will be awesome.

Re: 3 Kings Summer Amphitheatre Tour

San Diego's open sale today had the premium room combo packages on sale which I was hoping for. Got front row Wed and row 6 for Friday. A better deal than platinum when you include dinner and a suite for the price. I have some regular seat ticket pairs for both nights on sale at cost now. I'll hold on for a while before they go up on a reseller site.

Re: 3 Kings Summer Amphitheatre Tour

Aloha Rick,
Looking forward to being back in SD for the summer. Scored a good single dinner ticket for Wednesday 8/26….couldn't convince my wife to go to either night…but hey, I'm in for both nights. And I got a better seat than I originally bought on the pre sale!

Good luck, Rick!!   That's a pretty extensive list of venues for the 3 Kings Tour but it's a little short on Midwest dates and none in the South though.  But I'm not complaining.....

I'll be at the 8/17 Red Rocks show.  I purchased tickets through a donation to the local Denver PBS station.  I hope that they're good seats, I've never received tickets through a PBS station pledge drive.  Attending a concert at Red Rocks is/was on the bucket list and to be able to see Joe there makes it that much more special.  Yup, I'm VERY excited.

====
Hey, xland  -- If you've never been there, you will LOVE the Red Rocks experience.  It had been on my bucket list, too.  We were at the "Muddy Wolf" show at RR last year and are eager to listen again, when the new DVD arrives in the mail!

Good on ya, for contributing to the PBS station... bet Joe would approve!  I agree about the lack of southern venues (the greatest of 'Kings' are from Mississippi... and one from Texas), but in August, poor little Joe would just melt away in that balmy night air.

For us, it's on to CHICAGO in April, then 3 Kings show in (huh?)... Kettering, Ohio?

Re: 3 Kings Summer Amphitheatre Tour

So, so happy we were able to get the fantastic combo pack tickets for both of the San Diego shows. It'll be so much fun sitting with some of my favorite people in Bonaworld. That is what makes shows extra special, when you get to experience it with good friends. The only trick will be getting to that first show on Wednesday. Need to drop off our son at college in the morning, hop a flight around 1, arrive in San Diego around 5:30. I know I'm going to be a nervous wreck, hate flying in the day of the show, but in the end it will all be worth it smile
