Topic: Guitar World/Joe's column

I'm not sure if this has been posted anywhere yet....Joe is showing up everywhere!!!!  It looks like Joe will be doing a column, for at least the next few months sharing concepts that have contributed to his playing style.

The column is called BLUES DELUXE and the article is "Take It Sloe" and covers his approach to slide guitar.

Guitar World/Holiday 2007...Joe says he'll be back next month.

I was playing through Joe's lesson in my down-time today.  Great stuff!  This must be the column he was going to do originally in Guitar One.  Joe's columns and the tabs for Hendrix's Live Monterey cover of Killing Floor were the only interests I had in this issue.

Still not a big fan of Guitar World.

In the October issue of Guitar Techniques Sloe Gin has been awarded with album of the month. Joe is also mentioned in a column about what happened in the year 1977 (his birthyear). He is also quoted in an article about Danny Gatton, in the article the writer announces there will be a full interview with Joe in the mag pretty soon. Last issue there also was an article about Joe with some style examples.
Nice to see Joe getting some credit for what he does smile
