Topic: Going to NYC - Radio City to see Joe on Saturday 1/24/2015 Weather?
Weather doesn't look good. Substantial snow is possible. Would Joe cancel the show due to a storm? Should I worry?

I can't speak for Joe but it is very rare for him to cancel for any reason. He will already be in New York for Friday's show. I saw him last November in Springfield, MA, drove thru some really nasty rain/sleet/ice/snow to get there, cancelling wasn't even mentioned.
Leave and arrive early for the show, and have fun.

I bet canceling will never happen he is there already and as someone else said I was in Springfield Ma a few months ago during a very messy storm and no cancel
I'm not even sure what you guys are talking about. I saw Joe in late December and it was 80 degrees. What is this "snow" you speak of?
ROCKET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ROCKET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, the leviathan has surfaced, just a peek now and then.
I hear you. Thanks. We finally settled on renting an AWD car even though we have a dually truck and regular car. Fees for tunnel for dually's are about $45…parking for a wide truck in NYC has multiple issues. We certainly don't want to miss JB. These weather people drive me nuts when one says….minimal and the others give the first season's significant storm a name ….that's the problem.
I get winter weather precipitation travel for show anxiety..... I sort of used it as an excuse as to why I am not going up there for the show.....
I doubt it would get cancelled though and you can't believe the forecasts too far in advance anyway.Break a leg Joe! I wish i was going to be there but thankfully your million other fans make up for my slacking.
You're lucky being in Florida!!!

Thank you!! It's changing as we "write". Ice is the worse. It may take a few hours to get there than the usual hour + half. But we'll make this an adventure.

Have fun Heidi Ho. Unfortunately I can not attend yet another featured career highlight of Joe's.
But my reason of reply is for reminding that EXACTLY 32°F is the pivot point for both precipitation and moisture freezing. Black ice is of course the biggest danger, but slush or the thinnest layer of snow treated with salt or warm traffic patterns over it can become almost as slippery and perilous. I know you know this, but please drive carefully and safely everyone!
