Acoustic Set

Dust Bowl
Black Lung Heartache
Happier Times
Ball Peen Hammer
Dislocated Boy

Electric Set

Oh Beautiful
Story of a Quarryman
Song of Yesterday (With Won't Get Fooled Again Coda please...)
Love Aint a Love Song(Please put back kick **** Guitar solo after Keyboard solo...)
Never Give All Your Heart
Double Trouble
Blues Deluxe
Django
Mountain Time(4 Piece only please... ditch the strings...Its better in this spot as a "Can't You See"/Allman Bros. type jam then as a "The Band" sound...imho...I understand why you added strings when its in the last spot on the setlist to do a kind of "Acoustic Set" Redux.)

First Encore

Sloe Gin
Young Man Blues

Second Encore

Different Shades of Blue ("Electric" Version please...doing a transition from the acoustic to electric on stage would be awesome!!)

Ballad of John Henry(want to go out into the cold January nights air still buzzing and vibing from a killer version of this song!!!)

Cant wait to see you at Radio City...Last show...Beacon Thtr. May 17, 2013 was freakin awesome man...My wife and I had a blast...

...still get chills from the "tension" in Sloe Gin....great vibe that night!!

Hope for lots of improv's, jams and mind(and note)bending solos at Radio City/2nd night!!!!

And hey if you can't fit this setlist at Radio City how about next time your at The Count Basie Thtr. in Red Bank (sadly missed last springs show at Count Basie but have watched it a lot on youtube and it was killer!!!)

The shape that i'm in
As i see the future come and go
So many things unsaid
So many things i wanna say...

Life it hits me
Comes faster now day by day
Places that i've been
Are not the place i wanna be

bump for input

Re: Radio City Music Hall January 23 and 24, 2015 Special Guests??

If he invites a guest that would be cool, but I wouldn't really expect it. These are the final shows for his acoustic band/electric band combo tour. He will be doing a whole new lineup with horns in the Spring. So they will be filming these shows for a DVD I guess to immortalize this particular tour lineup that's been going on for a little over a year. So I wouldn't count on there being any special guests, but who knows. Joe occasionally has little surprises up his sleeve.

Thanks for the input...Hope if they are filming they will definitely want some surprise special guests like the Beacon DVD's...

After all Joe playing Radio City should not be just another concert...but an "Event"

Absolutely, it's a milestone!

"To repeat a good thing is to sit still; to take a chance is to grow." - Joe Bonamassa
I need some Joe...NOW.
Joe = Joy

Re: Radio City Music Hall January 23 and 24, 2015 Special Guests??

I saw Joe in Providence and he brought out Quinn Sullivan for one song, and I thought that was very cool, especially as it ties in with his own history with BB King.

Clearly people that pay to see Joe want to see him, but I loved having a young guitarist come out for a song or two.

Re: Radio City Music Hall January 23 and 24, 2015 Special Guests??

Me thinks a cat has been let out of the bag with a tweet from Jimmy Vivino. It would be cool if these final shows will be a "Joe and Friends" event. If Vivino is coming, could Kirk Fletcher be joining him too? Hmmm, this could be quite interesting wink

Maybe get BB King and do this:

Re: Radio City Music Hall January 23 and 24, 2015 Special Guests??

When we were at the Baked Potato shows Tal had mentioned to us he would be using his smaller Rock Candy drum kit at the Radio City shows and they were going to be a doing a bunch of practicing, so I had a feeling these shows were going to be something different and special. Very cool to see Reese will be there!

Re: Radio City Music Hall January 23 and 24, 2015 Special Guests??

Reese is a master of the Keys, Lucky for all of you going to this show. Amped to see what songs he plays

Was watching snippets of Tour De Force as part of a televised donor drive on my local PBS station NJTV last night and they were offering two tix for a 375.00 donation to see JB at PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, NJ on Saturday August 8, 2015.

This is the first I have heard of this date and its not on sale on Livenation or Ticketmaster and there is no mention at all of this date on the JB website or the PNC Bank Arts Center website so thought Id share it with everyone...

I am already a member so won't be donating for tix...but definitely going to try and snag a pair when they go on sale!!!

and cant wait till next Saturday the 24th seeing JB and the new lineup at RCMH as well as eagerly anticipating the 10 never before played live songs they plan to do for the RCMH shows!!!

Re: Radio City Music Hall January 23 and 24, 2015 Special Guests??

Looks like RCMH will be taped...here's a post from JB's facebook page:

JBWM: Joe's on his way back to work today, heading to Albany & Boston on his way to Radio City Music Hall. He's warming up for his new show featuring 10 new songs never before played live... the show at Radio City will even be taped for TV!
