Ok, it has been over three weeks since "You and Me" has been released.  No doubt you have been wearing out the CD, so what is your favorite song.  After a week I will tally the results.

Not to put down any songs on the CD because they are all great but what is the one that just does something for you.  Here is the listing.

Favorite has to be Bridge to better days, with So many roads a close second, Tea for one, Asking around for you...

After hearing it live in Dayton in March Bridge to Better Days emerged immediately as my favorite because of it's wicked groove, but I thought that Angel On my Shoulder would eventually bump it oof the top. However, after repeated plays, Bridge just won't budge. What a shame that there are so few rock stations that still play new music (other than campus stations). Bridge could so be a major hit.

The title is "Asking Around for You," in which Joe says he's 'gonna tap an angel on the shoulder', and it is indeed a beautiful song.  I'm also with you on "Bridge to Better Days"--that groove definitely stays with you a long time after the song is over!  I'd be hard-pressed to pick a favorite, though; I like 'em all.

these are the 3 that i seem to play the most...but i like the whole album. I actually just bought Joe's whole collection....can't wait to play them all.

And I am still wondering why Joe didn't do the vocals on Tea for One. I really like the song and the Robin Troweresque guitar (great tone!), but kind of wonder if he will do it live. Maybe I will find out in August when he is in Las Vegas again.

I have also always wondered about the background vocals. Yeah I know about overdubs, but a think something is lost when the background vocals are missing during a live performance. For that matter, how come so many bassists and drummers don't seem to do background vocals at least and yet a guitarist like Joe can do the vocals and make that guitar scream without missing a beat.

And what about that Hammond B3? Has Joe ever toured with a keyboardist?
