Topic: Would J. Bonamassa be interested in having his songs on Rocksmith 2014

Hey guys,

I have recently started learning to play the guitar. I am taking guitar lessons but every now and again I like to play Rocksmith 2014 because it really helps to learn songs. Unfortunately I'm really not that good with the guitar sad and I would love to learn Joe's songs.  Does anyone think Joe would be interested in having his songs on Rocksmith 2014 ????

I'm not sure about Rocksmith and Joe.  They would have to work out something legally for a future release.  In the meantime, Ive found some tutorials on Joes songs on YouTube.  Songs like sloe gin.   I'm in my forties and I started playing guitar again about 3 years ago.  I've learned everything I know right off of the Internet!
My personal advice: don't give up! Practice, practice, and practice some more!  Just make sure you make practice fun.  Find songs that are challenging enough to keep you interested and not too hard to make you quit!  Learn your basic chords first: C Em Am D G and Cadd9 and you'll be on your way!  Good luck! smile

Thanks Parasite68 for the advice. I know it's a long shot but it would be awesome if it could happen! Anyway I'm going to search for those tutorial videos on YouTube.

Thanks misthunter210! I have checked it out and put in a request for a few of Joe's songs. But in the mean while if you are interested there are some custom dlcs for Rocksmith 2014 for some of Joe's songs on customforge.com... I haven't tried them yet so I don't know if they're any good or not but I might test them soon!

How have you setup the audio on the Xbox one? I tried it but there is so much audio delay that it becomes difficult to follow the song. I really prefer the pc version of the game!

I have it set the suggested way with the squarish looking cable that's name escapes me at the moment.  Hdmi for video then that cable for sound no delay. If you haven't played lately there is a new patch out that made the note detection near perfect if the guitar is setup great.

I wish I had just gone to pc as I use amplitube, interfaces and studio monitors for my home guitar rig. I already had the game for 360 but they annouced if your purchased the Xbox one version you got the Jimi hendrix DLC for free so I bit. The Xbox one version was about unplayable due to poor note detection, no gain control, and bugging me u screens. Still slow but they worked a lot of that stuff out. This biggest thing that sucked was the dlc you purchase on 360 was promised to transfer. As I speak today this is still not fixed. Microsoft blames Ubisoft. Ubisoft blames microsoft so it seems like nothing really is getting done about it .

I knew how to play guitar long before the game but I still enjoy jumping on there and getting some kind of visual stimulation other than reading tabs all the time.
