Hi folks!

Not posted on here for a while but felt compelled to share my latest purchase with you guys...2013 Gibson VOS R8 smile one for my fellow lefties!

She plays just like a Les Paul should...an absolute dream smile Gibson 's PLEK machines do a superb set up job these days...

Congrats, SWEET looking LP!
I don't know why I never thought about it, but couldn't Gibson put the Les Paul logo the other way so that its right side up on a lefty guitar? No matter, its beautiful no matter how you look at it.....

I've always thought that too, I guess it saves them from having to apply the decals differently...the neck binding has the dot markers on both sides too do I guess they just make it 'ambidextrous'

I think the four original lefty bursts had the same thing with the logo too...so at least it's still vintage accurate wink

Beautiful guitar. I really like my R8. It is much better than any other Les Paul I ever had.

Nice! Happy NGD day! R8's are my favourite LP's. Mines a '13 and a real great player. Love the chunky necks.

Same here, mines also a '13...the neck profile is a dream! Love the 2013 specs too, the aniline dye on the back of mine is already turning the fretboard binding pink in the most awesome way smile
