Topic: Looks like we're back up ... (but lost a day of posts?)

Thank you for getting us back up!! ... how is everyone? smile

Looks like may have lost the last day or two of posts? ... (Like nmagcorn's (Natasha's) posting links of her grouping the 3 RCFP Baked shows in that Thread ... as an example.)

But thank u.  (Often have wanted to wipe a day or two.)

Re: Looks like we're back up ... (but lost a day of posts?)

Hi Sam,

Yes, I thought all the cold turkey had been finished by now. big_smile These days of withdrawal symptoms are becoming too frequent and are playing havoc with my constitution. hmm  I hope the outage was nothing sinister.

Shame about Natasha's videos as I hadn't got round to watching them, but had planned to soon. I hope Natasha will be able to repost when she has a moment. There were a few other interesting posts that have gone awol, too; such as the guy who wanted to rate all Joe's songs.

Anyway, it's good to be back. smile Now we just need some more action around here as it's been too quiet for a while.

Glad to see back up and running smile  When I can't check in  at work on breaks, I always fear that they have blocked it........so the day is starting off great (despite the miserable excessive wind chill produced by the howling winds sad

Have a lovely day everyone!

You can view all of Natasha's videos from her youtube channel. (Either remember her username, look for her in video search results for "bonamassa", or find any of her youtube links in older posts. then once you've found it, just subscribe. :-)

Re: Looks like we're back up ... (but lost a day of posts?)

It's nice to have the forum back up. Always feels real strange when it's not here, like the world doesn't seem right. I put the playlists back up from the RCFP shows. Now, if youtube ever went bonkers like the forum and lost my stuff, then I would be really freaking out wink

And as Wooders said, we need some action going on here. It's been way too quiet. There may be a high volume of traffic due to Joe's popularity, but they are all just lurking. Come on out, we don't bite smile

I noticed the same not much chatter here for sometime…What's Up??

Well they lost one of my posts but who cares.   Glad it's back.  Always check what is going on even if I do not post.  Miss you peeps when things are too quiet.

Re: Looks like we're back up ... (but lost a day of posts?)

Chatter ebbs and flows. Joe's not on tour so it is at an ebb.

I too have noticed a real slowdown in posts over the last few months.  Have wondered if some are favoring Facebook's Bonanation instead.

facebook? never!

though I fear at some point in the future I'll be one of the last few curmudgeonly holdouts. And since we won't be able to meet up with each other, we won't even be able to assemble and gripe about new things. We'll just wander alone, once in a while looking for a pay phone to answer a page on our beeper. :-)

Possibly more quiet  because some members who were always around are MIA like Rocket,Da Coachhhh,Bluesman, Big Jeff Jones ect although the latter two have been more or less absent for a while.

Not a facebook person myself. You and I may be the last ones.

I agree, Rick. But I also think the holiday period has had a lot to do with the light traffic on the forum in the last 3-4 weeks. As ever, it's not long until Joe's back on the road so I expect things will pick up soon.

Message to Eric, Thank you for getting the Forum back up and letting us know the cause of the outage. I note that you hope this will be the last time a server upgrade is needed, but if it is required in the future or the Forum is taken offline for any reason, could you please let us know beforehand? It would save some of us a lot of anguish.

Thank you for all you do for Joe's hardcore fans and forum members.

Thanks
Phil
