Re: Joe Bonamassa The Rock N Roll Universe Interview

Rev - what about Alverno College? he's coming there soon. Prolly not a 21 show.

JANE - Freebird is a super long song with a super long solo. Yes its hype - but it was the first example I could think of to prove my point.

Smashin interview and what a guy Joe is. How do you get to be so good and so humble?

That is why so many people love him and will continue to follow him and his music.

I am counting the days until he returns to Glasgow. Roll on the New Year!!!!!!!

Really fine interview, excellent job!

I don't know about US venues or sizes, but in my opinion Joe is playing the right size of venue here in Holland, roughly 500 - 1000. A small and jam packed hall makes for a much better atmosphere, so I'm grateful that Joe will be playing five small-ish venues here next March rather than fewer and larger ones.

If my own experience is anything to go by, those five shows will all be sell-outs. My word of mouth brought four people to the Paradiso show last Friday. My raving about the show has now sent four other people to book tickets for March. If I can keep this rate up I'll be personally responsible for 20 new fans! big_smile

I was driving down in Md. a couple of weeks ago, and that song comes on...just as I'm passing by a sign for Richmond...I got a kick out of that wink

Thanks Keith for a great interview!

Thanks all once again, and the word's being spread. There are blurbs on Ted Nugent's site and I'm making some inroads into the metal crowd, so keep spreading the word!
