Re: 10 years in 10 minutes

I finally got round to watching your video a couple of days ago, Bill, and was spellbound. It was great to see so many of the people I've met in London and your choice of music is perfect. I'm pleased there weren't any pics of me but nice to see the badges I made for both the RAH events make an appearance. Do you still have your ticket for Cocoon?

I wonder what the next 10 years will bring?

See you around, hopefully.

Re: 10 years in 10 minutes

Hundreds of pics filtered through Phil. I initially figured 10 minutes at 2 seconds per pic, which would have been 300 pics. 2 seconds was a bit out of sync and seemed too choppy, so I went to a 3 second interval, which seemed perfect, but about 100 pics fell to the floor, including a bunch from the Cocoon. I'm surprised there's not a single pic of you!
I indeed have my Cocoon pass...lots of memorabilia stuff also was cut.
Guess I'll need to do another one for the next 10 years...Mark your calendar for December 3, 2024!

Very cool, Bill - amazing how fast 10 years can go! Nice to see all the gatherings again where music has brought us all together around the world... You can watch Joe - and us - grow older, wiser and better dressed as well. wink Nice mustache Bill!!

Re: 10 years in 10 minutes

Well done Bill. Really enjoyed the video and the memories. It has been awesome to have been able to share a lot of shows together. All the best in the next 10 years!

Music is good for the Soul...

Re: 10 years in 10 minutes

Dear Bill, I have watched this many times and the first thought that always come to mind is how thankful I am , we have had great times along the the way......beautiful memories of friendships and sharing Joe's journey.....  You put this together so nicely, perfect choice of songs.   In my former ( non-Joe discovery) life would I ever have dreamt of a more beautiful way for such wonderful friendships to unfold.  I have to chuckle every time I see my sister Bev's homemade sign, Hotel Bonamassa wink  That sign is like a Welcome Home mat. I'm not sure who has it now, Michael maybe? My sister was so gracious to host Michael on his first trip to the States to meet us all at Joe's Elgin show and hung the sign on her front door for him. When I first asked her if he could stay, she said "Have you ever met this person?"  I said, "No, but I think he's probably a really nice guy."  She said, "What if he turns out to be crazy?" I said, "Rhonda will leave him at the airport if he is!"  lol lol     And I will never forget meeting you at a Joe show, of course,  at Joe's Sports Bar on Weed St. in Chicago!  Great Joe posters we got from the restrooms! The big Joe Crossroads party you and Jane hosted was just the best! Trips to RAH I and RAH II, Red Rocks, and all the smaller venues in between ( which are some of the best) unforgettable ...........it's a wonderful life, the World of Joe  cool

Joe never sang truer words than the opening to Around The Bend "Lord, I've come a long way..."

Wonderful video Bill!               pattyluvsjoe&billtoo wink

finally got around to watching this. great job Bill and thanks for sharing. There were many big shows and fan get togethers in there I wish I had made it to but I appreciate everyone's reports back here. It makes it seem like I was there too somewhat. Hope to meet up with you in person sometime in the next ten years!

Me too Jane! I'll never forget your kindness and sharing of bootleg shows with me when I was relatively new.
Some day the planets will line up and we'll meet in person. Hope your holiday was wonderful!
