yeah well at $28k others things came my way and since I had serial #001 let someone else have her. Who knows maybe it will come to join serial 001 someday or serial number 001 will join proto. What a pair that would be. It would be cool if we find out who bought her.
Cheers Ron

I hope the winner ponies up. I don't think I can go through another auction like that. wink

22,600 all will go towards a kids scholarship.  I am overwhelmed at the generosity. I am confident that this will change a kids trajectory in life.

I (among many others) agree 100%. It is a very generous donation.

I want to thank you for a much more modest gesture you made, where you tossed my son Griffin your guitar slide during John Henry at the show thanksgiving eve in Springfield. Even little things like that, and the gift from Ron the first time we saw you last spring, all impact kids at this age so significantly. Seeing live music, and live musicianship is inspiring, even if your only souvenirs are your memories and smartphone recording! :-).

Griffin and I will see you again in Boston in January, and he'll be at the meet and greet, along with another teen guitarist. We can't all give away scholarships of course, but it'd be great if we all tried to expose kids to live music. My six year old begged to see Foo Fighters at Fenway, and while I think that will be a bit much for him, he might just get to see Jon Butcher and/or Popa Chubby at Chan's in Woonsocket. :-)
