Topic: Who is Ready for Red Rocks Part 2

I am flipping through the channels tonight and saw that Joe's Live at the Beacon Theatre is showing on PBS which always means they are pushing the ticket specials for an upcoming show.  Sure enough I turn to the channel and they are talking about the different packages available.  You can choose either Joe's show in Colorado Springs in April or his upcoming show at Red Rocks on August 17th!!!!  I was so happy to see that I can't even tell you!  I felt so incredibly blessed to see the Howlin Wolf show at Red Rocks and you can darn sure bet I will be grabbing tix for this one as well.  They didn't specify, but I have to assume this will be one of the Three Kings Tribute shows.

I am going to wait for the actual tix to go on sale with the pre-sale through the forum, but if anyone is interested the 2 packages I saw through our Rocky Mountain PBS were $220 for 2 tix to the show or $500 for 2 tix, pre show meet and greet, and a 2 DVD/2CD set.  Again, I would caution to make sure you specify which show you want, Colorado Springs or Red Rocks as they were advertising both as available for the packages.  I already have tix for the Colorado Springs show and now am so pumped to see Joe at Red Rocks again too!!!

I wanted to get the word out here to everyone ASAP.  Let the planning begin!

Re: Who is Ready for Red Rocks Part 2

Thanks for the heads up!!

Re: Who is Ready for Red Rocks Part 2

I called the Rocky Mountain PBS station and the lady that I spoke with was not aware of any packages being made available for JB shows in Colorado Springs or Red Rocks.  She did state that there is a very good possibility that they just have not been made available yet and she took down my information so the station could contact me with more information.

Well, I got a little antsy and looked around some more and found that the Colorado Public Television Channel 12 was offering packages online...so I scooped up two tickets to see Joe at Red Rocks on August 17, 2015!!!  I'm going to Red Rocks, BABY!!  big_smile  I'm not sure where the tickets are located but I hope that they are not bad seats, I've never purchased concert tickets through a PBS station before.

Here is the link to Channel 12's JB concert packages:

This is going to make a GREAT Christmas present to my wife.  HUGE brownie points right here!!  We were already planning on visiting Colorado in September but we'll happily move our visit up one month to see Joe at RR!!

Re: Who is Ready for Red Rocks Part 2

Hi everyone.

Sorry for the confusing information in my original post.  I thought it was Rocky Mountain PBS, but the link Xland provided below for Colorad Public Television is the correct one for what I saw last night.   I just checked on the link and the $500 packages for Red Rocks appear to be sold out.  The 2 tix for $220 Red Rocks package shows as still available.  Good luck to anyone wanting to grab them.  Thanks.
