Topic: RIP Chris Aaron

Wisconsin blues guitarist Chris Aaron died yesterday of a heart attack at age 44. I've seen him play a handful of times, and he used to be roommates with my guitar teacher years ago when I took lessons as a teen.

Notably, the Chris Aaron band featured Cory Sterling, former Kenny Wayne Shepherd vocalist from his first album Ledbetter Heights. The Chris Aaron band's biggest song was titled Born With the Blues.

The last verse now sounds eerie to me.

"Now don't you worry none, I seem to be alright.
I know what we're doing here, I dreamed of it all my life.
A life is worth living, is doing what you love.
If you love what you're hearing now, we're born with the blues."

Re: RIP Chris Aaron

Very sad.I have a couple of his CDs .They are both great.I was always keeping a look out for more music from him but it didn't seem like he was recording.Truly a gifted bluesrocker and him paired with Corey Sterling was something special.
I would highly recommend his music for the Joe fans here.Top notch all the way.
Way to young to pass on.RIP
