It's not how it seems (Page 1 of 2)

While I'm writing this it's #1000..now let me explain....When I logged in and started posting it was because Rolling Stone ticked me off with the "Best Young yadda yadda" and there was no Joe!!! It didn't take long to figure out that there were lots of other people who felt the same. Not only that, but you would have to try real hard to be a bigger fan than many. I stayed because this forum has great people. I love that it's global, so we generally get to keep up on how the tours go and hear some of the best concert tales. I've really enjoyed all the people I've met in person, on the phone and in cyberworld...I love that the band checks in on occasion....There is so much musical info shared here it's hard to keep up! And how cool is it that there are players from both genders and of all ages. So anyway, I think I got to this number because I'm like the Wal-Mart greeter.."Hello, Welcome to Joe World". Being home caring for my mom means I'll check in during the day..If I see a new poster I feel compeled to make sure they feel welcomed..Old school manners and my mothering instinct..That's probably 500 posts there! So bare with me or ignore my posts, your choice and no offense taken..Just play nice!!!  Cathy

I'm glad you asked that question. Yes, there are awards for every 250 posts that are made on the Starship Bonamassa Forum. Obviously, you've crossed this mark some time ago. I realize that you've been slaving away in the ship's galley preparing those wonder baby back ribs. Thanks for all the kind words. I hope I made the point that it's not about the number of posts. Nobody is special or more valuable than any one else. There's lots of folk who post seldom but do massive amounts of work for Joe. So props to all who meet here because we love Joe and all he gives us....Cathy
