His playing is shattering...

From that first bend...
What instrument? He could make a stone sound great.
This is a guy who died at 25...playing with soul of a few lifetimes...
Instantly grabs me far more than Hendrix and Clapton...
That price is shattering!

For those that might have missed it - Joe played a Paul Kossoff guitar in Newcastle when he last played the UK. Here are some pictures of the occasion.

The guitar for sale on Ebay is not the same one!
This guitar has been on sale for over a year so I can't see it fetching that price. Also, there is no proof that Koss ever used it in a live gig.

Finaly got round to editing the video Sue shot at Newcastle City Hall in October 2010, when Joe got to play Paul Kossoff's Les Paul for the first time. What a day that was, for all the right reasons. Me for being able to make a video of the set up for the show, and to be able to shoot pictures of this event. Clearly Joe is full of awe for this instrument, talk about a kid in a candystore. As has been published elsewhere, the guitar was not for sale. Arthur Ramm promised Paul's family, who gave it to him, that if he had to sell it, he would sell it back to the family.
Awesome Geoff. Worth the wait. That must have been such a treat. A bit of clipping on the audio in some of the more rockish riffs. Probably due to waaay too much volume in front of the rig for the camera.

Huh when I checked today on my ipad I got "This video contains content from WMG and UMG, one or more of whom have blocked it in your country on copyright grounds"! OK, I'll take the track "All right now" by "Free" off the video and re-post. I do apologise, it was meant as a tribute to Paul Kossoff.
New link with the offending "Free" track "All right now" removed
thanks Geoff, great film
