I hope it sells too! I keep going back to the marketplace page and think'n, 'Do they really need to go to college?'.

You guys will have a blast! I was seriously considering going, but finally decided against it in favor of several other Joe shows. I know, missing a chance of a lifetime....
But, a while back I made a hotel reservation just in case, at the Quality Inn in Golden. I believe that is where a bunch of Bonabuds will be staying. They have a shuttle to Red Rocks for $20 round trip per person.
I was just about to cancel the room but I checked if the hotel could/would transfer the reservation to someone else and they said they could. Not sure if the place is sold out but if they are and anyone is interested in taking over the room, just e-mail me and we can arrange it. If no interest by Aug. 15 I will just cancel it. Thanks.
Just a bump in case anyone is interested in the hotel room. I will plan on cancelling the reservation tomorrow, Friday Aug. 15, at noon eastern, unless I hear before that. Thanks. Enjoy, everybody!!
Only a few single seats left. Looking like a smash sellout for the man. Two weeks to go!

Holy crap, you're right Rick! And it looks like the capacity for the place is about 9500! Wow, that's a lot of people. Wonder if it's a record for him here in the States. Certainly seems like it might be. I know he's played to bigger audiences but those seem to have been festivals with multiple acts.
I'm a little shocked, though, there are still seats available for the other two shows leading up to this one. Those are small venues. The one in Vail, the smallest venue, still has two seats available in the second row and two in the 5th as well.
To steal a quote from the old Virginia Slims ad......
"You've come a long way baby!"

Wahooo.... I am so Psyched....
This will be my 5th time seeing Joe Live, (I never miss a show when he's in my backyard),
AND my first ever trip to Red Rocks...
Flying in with my son just to see him..
It is going to be epic...
Does anyone know if he'll be filming ? For a future DVD ?
I learned a long time ago that you can't just listen to Joe, you gotta watch him play too...
So I'm just finishing up the Royal Albert Hall BluRay from Tour de Force...
(goes without say that I had to buy 'em all...)
I've got a couple of autographed item...
Now if I could only score a 'meet and greet' so I could get a picture with him...
Any tips/suggestions ?
Thanks and look forward to seeing everyone there..

They are filming the show for a DVD. And I heard that because of the prep involved with this, there won't be any Meet & Greet.

Hi Timb...
My son is 28...
I'm older than Joe, and he's younger...
So the Music of the Blues continues to span generations.. :-)
Safe Travels and I'll see you at the show...

Ah, adult son. I was thinking young son. My son Griffin is 12, and I've successfully shown him there's way better music than current pop.

Just went to see if there were any tickets left. Total sellout! StubHub has about 20 left at hefty prices.

Can't wait for Friday! Very early flight from Chicago to Denver. In fact, our ride is picking us up at 3:30AM...that's right, AM. Looking forward to some sight seeing, catching up with friends, and of course seeing a great show at Red Rocks!
