Saw Jimmy Thackery this weekend at the Birchmere in VA. He and Sonny Landreth were playing. First time for us seeing Thackery and we really liked him. During Sonny's set, he invited Thackery to come out and play with him and said it was the first time they had ever played together. They did two songs and it was really cool to see.

I have been fortunate to see Jimmy live several times and am a big fan of his.  Thanks for posting the videos.  If you aren't already familiar I would also highly recommend the album he did with Tab Benoit called "whiskey Store" in addition to Jimmy's solo work.

Yeah, I loved that song! When I was filming him playing it, he stopped near the end and everyone clapped so I thought it was done, then he did some more. So I had to splice the two parts together on my video, lol. It is a fantastic instrumental piece.
