Yes!!! Yes, I'm agreeable to both of your sentences' premises. And, once again "best" should be exchanged for "favorite(s)."
Now, also amongst my "favorites" within Joe Bonamassa's slow blues repertoire, I have to add "The Thrill Is Gone," and, he and Rock Candy Funk Party's Baked Potato performance of "Wee Wee Hours." Of course, I'd have to rank many listed in previous posts as favorites, and, when I "Reconsider, Baby," as expected, "The Great Flood" also definitely floats to the top. But now, after I stop to add "Stop," I have to mention a slow blues song authored (not a cover) by Joe that slides into the deep recesses and trenches of my soul, personally, with it's stark, yet profoundly resonating, visceral, bluesy emotional stratus, whoa... "From The Valley!"
