Topic: Calling Festival in London

I know this is old news but was wondering if anyone from here is going.  I of course will not be there but the idea of Joe opening for Aerosmith  is so cool.   I know he is friends with Brad Whitford and his son.  How cool if Joe got to  play with them after doing his set???  Can't you just see it.  Stephen Tyler screaming and Joe's guitar screaming along with Brads.  Man just does not get better than that.

To those going, Hope it is as much fun as it sounds like it will be.

Re: Calling Festival in London

3 of us from Scotland are heading down. Jam with Aerosmith? Would be real cool and he has had Brad Whitford in the studio so you never know.

Re: Calling Festival in London

Kenny I look forward to your report on the festival.  I know it is a pipe dream but would be cool if it happened

Plus me and Maggie and I think Lydia, too. I'm trying to persuade Curryman to join us so should be another good meeting of the clans.

Re: Calling Festival in London

What a FAB day at Clapham!

First time I have seen 'Festival Joe' and my only complaint is - it was all over too soon!! The sound was spot on and Joe's voice was the best I've heard him. Loved the opening number 'Oh beautiful'.

As already mentioned, the main crowd puller was Aerosmith, but a lot were also there for Thunder. We spoke to several other festival goers, who sheepishly admitted that they didn't really know a lot about Joe. During his set however, there were a lot of awestruck faces and, for sure, Joe will have a great deal more fans after the show.

Anticipating it being a lot harder to get tickets for Joe's shows in the future - but this is a small price to pay to see Joe receive the full recognition he deserves smile

Oh, almost forgot - loved the shoes!!

Awesome videos Wooders! Thanks so much for posting them. Always love watching Joe, and I have to say Lenny is just so much fun to watch as well. Derek looked good with the hair cut and beard trimmed also. Gotta love Michael's exclamations at the end of Slow Train! What a great spot you all had for that show!

Re: Calling Festival in London

Here's some more. Shooting outdoor photos and video is great. smile

Love Ain't A Love Song We'll soon all be dancing to this great new tune, or marching in Patty's case. big_smile

Sloe Gin One of the best Sloe Gin solos I've seen, quite breathtaking.

Thanks for keeping your elbows in and not nudging me, Michael. wink

Hope you all enjoy and post a comment here or on youtube if you do.
