Supporting Alter Bridge in the States then Slash in the UK. Looks like Jason won't manage the UK dates so will play with another drummer.

That seems a bit odd.

Sure is. They have chosen Joey Castillo, ex Queens of the Stone Age. Not sure about the US tour.

Re: California Breed Release

Hi Di Heads up campers,

They are the Friday night headliners at Planet Rockstock on the 5th December at Trecco Bay holiday park in Wales.

All joking aside, the line up looks really good

No matter how far you try to push the envelope, it remains stationery

They are supporting Alter Bridge in the US. Their website has been changed to Jason Bonham (drums studio), Joey Castillo (drums live).

Re: California Breed Release

So I wonder if Subbing for Jason is a temporary thing?
Nothing against the replacement but Jason on Drums in a three piece is a big part of the draw.Poor Glenn,he seems to have a hard time getting a band to tour as a unit.

Don't hold your breath for much of a tour. They'll be busking for dosh soon.

Thanks for this Rick. My main reason for going to see them would be Jason so I am disappointed. It's ironic that their planned European tour starting in September was put off because of Jason's commitments with Sammy Hagar and supporting Heart with the JB Experience.

Where's Bobbi Flekman to come in and say "Money talks...and bullshit walks".
Shambles.

Re: California Breed Release

I sense your pains Jane. For me the Cali Breed does not remind me of an certain unmentionable though.Just a good new band with a lot of potential.Time will tell Joey C may be all good.I was not familiar with him but did a little research and he seems like a real good drummer.
Now things are a little less of ,that is which is not to be mentioned, as only one is left standing on his own now.

Re: California Breed Release

I would just like to point out the brilliance of the Busking for Dosh phrase.
It could be a band name! Or an album title. Good one, RickB.

Gee, maybe a copyright is in order? tongue
I feel the pain for these guys. Glenn is getting on and still has the fire and pipes for those that like that style so I can see where he's coming from. Pushing the envelope though in the cashflow department it seems. Wishing them well because Glenn is a fair to good songwriter in the genre.

Re: California Breed Release

To me they sound like they're trying way too hard. I'm not a fan at all.
