Topic: Bridge to Better Days...guitar player question...

ok ok ok...so I'm learning BTBD to cover in my band...I've watched the video on the front page and I'm still not 100% on the main riff...

I know that the 1st two notes are G and A...but the lick after that...I've paused the video several times, but it's still blurry...

is Joe playing a G(3rd fret) on string 1, an E(5th fret) on 5, and a C(5th fret) on 4, before going to the vibrato C(5th fret) on 4?

...does this make sense?

We're playing the JB version of Blues Deluxe live for the 1st time this week too...

it's b string 5th fret, e string 3rd. . .

it's just an E and a G (the third and fifth of a C-major Chord)

And if you think that's tough, wait until you get to the next bit, with that F#/D7 chord.  That's even more fun, especially during the verses.

Thanks guys, I tried just the E and G at 1st but it souds like something is missing...tone maybe smile LOL!

I got that down...now to a "solo" hehehehehe....

Thanks again for the help, I'll try it with my gig rig tomoroww at sound check...maybe it'll sound better than the tele through a Pignose!!!!
