Topic: Joe at Loreley Classic Rocknacht

Just returned from Loreley festival yesterday.
It was an absolute Killer gig from Joe.
Posted the setlist on setlist fm. The best I saw until now. With Bernie as a guest on FOUTR.
About 6000 fans were there at this beautiful venue.
Could have been 8000.
Perfect weather conditions.
Joe, Carmine and Tal gave a lot of autographs next to the stage.
Joe played before Satch, I think the reason was Download festival today at 03.00 p.m.
After Joe's show about 1000 fans left the venue when Satch was playing.
Poor Satch. He was great also.
All in all 9 hours of great rock music. Well done Joe and the other guys.
Do it again next year.

That is an intriguing set!  I like the order and the contents.   "Story Of A Quarryman" even!

Re: Joe at Loreley Classic Rocknacht

Layla Zoe posted a nice pic on Facebook and summed it up:

Joe Bonamassa completely stole the show tonight at Rocknacht in Loreley, Germany! Incredible show and was so great to chat with him since I had not seen him since 2009 when we first met at the Grolsch Blues Fest. Just an outstanding guitarist and the best act of the festival tonight in my opinion. And he was wearing my favourite colour too!

Re: Joe at Loreley Classic Rocknacht

German and brilliant guitarplayer Jan Laacks from the Layla Zoe band told me: Joe at the Loreley was  just outstanding, unbelievable! His playing, his tone, the songs: The best!
