George Strait

Well, I attended his farewell concert last night at Cowboys Stadium in Dallas, and it was an awesome show!! He played for 3 hours and did 41 songs. Nearly 105,000 showe up and the show broke attendance records for an indoor show in North America!! It was previous held by the Rolling Stones when they did a show at the New Orleans Superdome in 1981 and had 87,500 there. George had several guests join him for a couple songs each. Asleep At The Wheel opened and played a great set of their own music, some Bob Wills songs, etc. I'm glad I won tickets to this thing. That's luck winning tickets to this one!! I'm glad I got to witness it, and if George is indeed done touring, he went out the right way!!
