Interesting numbers here. Agree with the conclusion that there is little correlation between talent and fees?

Actually, there is, in my opinion.  Those going on talent as their strong point co$t less.  Those relying on lame-ass hype and begging pockets of parasites, it is an a cost $ting...

Obviously Joe doesn't work through booking agancies, but it would be a perverted type of "fun", or more accurately "torture", to have a sense of what it would be to have him perform at my next birthday party!

I was really surprised at some of those figures.  If I had the spare ££ I'd book Beth Hart in a heartbeat.  Oh, but with the rider that she brought along a guitarist "friend" smile

some of those booking fees are way off, unless they are heavily weighted to one off shows, not tours. You wind up paying for rehearsal time, travel etc. a good guess for a gig on tour is about 25-35% of average gross.
