Topic: Summer tour

Hey Everybody,
I just wanted to post before I hit the road again this week.  I wanted to thank everybody for making the You and Me record #1 its first week out.  I have been sick the last 10 days but I am glad to report today has been the first day I felt better. Anyway I am looking forward to hittting the road again.  Our first show is with KWS on Saturday. It will be good to see all those guys again.  Maybe a little akward at first due to the fact that  some of them now ride on my bus but I think everybody is looking forward to it.  Park City is a great venue that we played last year with BB. I get to see my parents in Rochester a week later.  Lots of travel this year.  Probably the busiest yet.  Anyway thanks for all the support on the new record and at the shows.. We start rehearsals tomorrow to finish our new Cream cover and some more new stuff off the record.  Off to the doctor now to make sure that the plague has been cured..
thanks

Re: Summer tour

Hi Joe, thanks for the update. Hope your health gets at 100% and stays there.  When we saw you in Atlanta we could tell you were feeling poorly.  A Cream cover!!!  That sounds awesome, hope you got the handbill that I gave Dennis to give to you, timely huh?  If the first part of your tour will be anything like the second it will be awesome.  Look forward to seeing you guys on the road!

Re: Summer tour

Sounds like everyone is geared up to go!   Cream Cover?  Clue us in Joe...
Will you be playing soon, perhaps at Mill Creek July 11th?
How about a little Jimi Hendrix being added to the mix.
Glad your feeling better, but I can't help wondering about the last 300th person you shook hands with.   Close to death I bet!  Ha!
Great job Joe...say Hi to the band for us!

Your parents aren't the only ones looking forward to the Rochester show!  cool

All the support comes directly from you.  Your musical ability & your personality shines through to all that have heard you play and/or met you in person.  Love the new Cd & can't wait to hear some of it live in Rochester & in Verona.  Maybe some "Tea For One"???  big_smile

Glad you are feeling better!

Oh yeah ~ just got the Walter Trout CD in the mail today (& Indigenous' new CD too).  Gr8 work on Walter's CD.  An all-around excellent CD from Walter (& Mato).

Re: Summer tour

wear latex gloves and a paper mask...that's a crowd pleaser smile

or have a Joe doppleganger to handle the physical contact...you can just refer people to him for a handshake...

Re: Summer tour

Okay, now I know I need to bring you more Airborne! And maybe some hand sanitizer. I personnaly don't care for the sanitizer (feels sticky), but you might be able to handle it long enough to get you through greeting folks after the show. And rest has alot to do with how well you resist germs. As hard as you work, rest is hard to get but you need to try to get more. We all care about you and we like to see you well and at your best. Please take care!
We'll see you at the Granada in Dallas!

Luv,

Re: Summer tour

Joe, sorry to hear you were sick for much of your well deserved break but glad you are feeling better.  Good luck to you, Bogie and Mark as you start on this next leg of your summer tour.  Hope it is filled with great music, good friends/family and "lots of fun".  Take care and have a safe tour.  See you guys in August at the Mohican Blues Fest.  Barbara

Re: Summer tour

Stay well and enjoy this leg of the tour! You have the masses in a frenzy for more Joe LIVE!

Can't wait to see you in August. Got lots of people heading to Vegas for those shows. Lots of people who'll be reviewing the show and the CD.  Of course, before then is SoCal and you'll have the blues society behind you 100% on that one. And BBQ. I did promise BBQ.

Until then, get well, stay well, and have fun!

Re: Summer tour

Joe, hope you get full recovery.
Anyway im a 12 year old fan of yours from sweden, and my teacher first told me about you. I was just wondering, do you ever do tours in other countries? Meaning will you ever come to sweden? Because it would be so awesome if you came, good luck on your tour!

Re: Summer tour

Joe,

I think it's been longer then 10 days my friend.  When I saw you in Hagarstown, MD you weren't feeling very well then.  Also, you played around a little with Sunshine of my Love lately too, loved it, and of course there was the Spoonful in MD also.  Was fantastic!!!  Can't wait to see you in Dallas, Fort Worth and Ardmore!!!  Rock on my friend!

Love, Peace, Beatles and JOE!!!

Re: Summer tour

Glad to hear you're feeling better. I heard someone mention that White Room was the cover. If so, you guys should own it.

now that is funny, and so true.

Re: Summer tour

Too many Cream revisits. Even tried it themselves geriatric ward style.

Cant you get KWS out of the USA to the UK & Europe, that would really be interesting on a double bill.
