There is one...somewhere.
I went to the Manchester and Wolves shows (as well as their 100th gig last year).
Quite fantastic. Was great to meet the guys after the show each night too.
The will just keep getting better. New songs fit right in.
My favourite song live has to be Midnight Black...fully rock on!

Re: Temperance Movement - no thread of their own?

There definitely is one but can't find it. I loved the new songs in Aberdeen but Midnight Black, I can do without.

Interesting to find out how many from this forum went and who went to KWS instead.

First time I have actually watched or listened to them. Black Crowes kind of vibe.

Good band, first ep is really good. I was hearing some 70's Stones influence. Can't get the latest album on itunes though....bummer.

as I was there watching them play i was thinking the same thing, - and about how strange it is that success is down to timing, being in the right place at the right time. I also hear The Faces in their music. - What I do find encouraging is that there are still young bands coming through who recognise the early greats.

Re: Temperance Movement - no thread of their own?

Bought tix to see Blackberry Smoke at HOB Dallas a few months back.  The show was this past Friday night and it turns out Temperance Movement opened the show.  Wow, what an incredibly high energy performance they delivered.  Now I'm not saying that Phil Campbell had partaken in any questionable stimulants, but holy cow that dude must have burned 10,000 calories in their 45 minute set.  Huge voice, great groove.  Frankly Blackberry Smoke was kind of a let down after this performance.  First thing the next morning, their CD was ordered.  If you have an opportunity to go see this terrific band...do it.

Re: Temperance Movement - no thread of their own?

Saw them open for Blackberry Smoke in Orlando a couple weeks ago.  I actually didn't know who the opener was, and didn't know that's who they were, but I came away impressed.  Great live band!
