Topic: Davina and the Vagabonds

Heard this band at a Walter Trout benefit last week in Minneapolis where we met up with Lee and Renee. Knocked my socks off. What a voice and what a great group of musicians. A style all their own and fun as all get out.

Re: Davina and the Vagabonds

Worked sound for them in Hayward a year or so ago, nice people and fun to work with.

Re: Davina and the Vagabonds

UK fans, Davina is doing another tour starting tomorrow in Oldham. Check out the dates here:

Also, Davina will be appearing on the Jools Holland show on the 14th of April. Not sure if that show airs that day or later in the week, but obviously a huge moment for Davina and the Vagabonds.

Also, it was just announced that they will be playing the Great British R&B Festival on August 31st.

Re: Davina and the Vagabonds

Saw the band last month in UK, stunning one of the best shows I have seen in years. No guitars and to be honest I did not miss them. Great evening of new music done with a very nostalgic theme.
I managed to interview Davina Sowers before the show
