Well I don't suspect any sleep in my future i'm still trying to pick my jaw up off the floor from the show! It's hard to describe in words how amazing Joe and his band(s) are live. I just honestly would be sitting at my seat laughing because it's really unbelievable how good they are. He was on fire tonight and looked like he was having fun too, which makes any concert enjoyable seeing the artist having fun! My group I went with had the m&g before the show as well which was super sweet! Joe remembered my name as I was walking up to him to give him a hug too hehe
I'm guessing he read my post about his Bonamassa Gibson Goldtop and how I searched long and hard for it because when he asked me where I got it I said Ebay lol He kinda chuckled and was like "oh searched long and hard for that one!" haha I got a real kick out of that. I had him sign this picture of us hugging at the last m&g that my dad snapped! I blew the picture up and it hangs in my room and I was just thinking he would sign his name but he also added "to Erin, you're the best. Your pal, JB" I thought that was so sweet! Thanks a bunch Joe if you read this! It really meant a lot! I got Joe a little bag of gifts, wine, a wine holder, some chocolates, and a card, but I also got Tal a bottle of Tequila for Joe to give to him. As I was sitting in my seat we were the VERY front row, I look up a Tal and I couldn't tell if he was looking at me so I waved and he mumbled the words "thank you." That made my day as well, and getting one of his drum sticks at the end of the night!
The show was nothing more than amazing and the two new songs he added to the setlist are honestly too good to describe with words. Oh Beautiful might be my new favorite song actually. It was cool seeing how my brother, his girlfriend, and my friend Dylan reacted to the show because it was their first experience seeing him live. They all decided after the show it won't be their last! Also want to note that the crowd tonight was pretty good. There were a few drunk people behind me that kept talking but other than that it was a great crowd. I remember specifically during Sloe Gin the crowd was dead silent for a while, I think everyone was feeling the song and the emotions that no one wanted to whistle or holler. It was surreal.
Joe, just want to say you're awesome and every time I see you live it gets better and better. Can't wait for the many more shows to come!
