Topic: Sioux Falls - 4/15/14

Who's all going to be there tonight in Sioux Falls?

I stuffed some mailboxes at my college with postcards, coffee shops, guitar stores, etc, and I'll be street teaming a little later this afternoon downtown near the venue if anybody wants to join!

We're on the road Austin! Me and Renee and our friend Rex from SD will be there. Looking forward to it and I love this venue!

Any place in particular that you'll be before the show?

Yes, that's our plan. Looks like a few options near Washington Pavilion.

I heard an interview with a guitarist that was said he knew Chet Atkins was going to be in the audience one night and was nervous.
He said he made mistakes in songs and at the end of the night Chet walks into the dressing room.
Before Chet had a chance to say anything the guitarist says "sorry for all the bad notes out there tonight"

Chet says:
"Son you played wonderful, I don't know the notes that you wanted to play in your head, I only heard the notes that you played and they were great"

It was was when Joe was ripping into the last few bars of "Woke Up Dreaming" he made a little mistake picking, stopped and apologized, and then finished the song. No big deal really. Just proof that he is indeed human!

Yup! As my signature says..."He still doesn't charge for mistakes!"  I gravitate to his kind of thinking about that...anyway, not so intetested in that except that Joe tweeted about it.  Want more submect matter in the form of expanded commentaries is all!
