Tickets for the evening shows appear to be selling well except for (not surprisingly) the VIP packages, which at £180 for Tedeschi Trucks are likely to be there for some time. Having paid £160 for VIP tickets at the RAH for Joe's show I know one doesn't get a lot for one's money. An experience yes, but not a lot of food or time to eat it.

I'm intrigued that KWS is doing an interview on the 30th. I didn't know he was in the country so expect we'll see some dates announced soon.

Re: Bluesfest 2013 & 2014 - UK

I forgot to listen to Paul Jones' Show on BBC Radio 2 on Monday evening and last night Mrs W told me that she's previously heard a trailer saying that PJ would be featuring music and chat from Bluesfest at the RAH. Her memory's worse than mine. hmm

Luckily the show is still on iplayer for another four days so if you didn't catch it look here

I don't think it's available outside the UK unless the Beeb has changed the access rights. Here's what's featured.

BIG BOY BLOATER - THAT AIN'T MY NAME

Tedeschi Trucks Band  - Made Up Mind, The Storm

Ian Siegal - I Am The Train

Matt Schofield - I Don't Know What I'd Do, Live Wire

James Hunter - No Smoke Without Fire,  Don't Do Me No Favors

Re: Bluesfest 2013 & 2014 - UK

The first of the 2014 headliners have been confirmed. A six day festival this year. I can't say I'm impressed so far. http://www.bluesfest.co.uk/

Re: Bluesfest 2013 & 2014 - UK

I guess somebody needs to explain to the organisers the meaning of Blues? - Level 42?

My YouTube channel with plenty of my Joe's videos dating from 2009 inc his first Hammersmith Odeon ones:

Re: Bluesfest 2013 & 2014 - UK

As much as I like Level 42 & Sheryl Crow in their own right, Bluesfest is one helluva stretch, about as close as Bob Dylan is to hip-hop

Re: Bluesfest 2013 & 2014 - UK

I saw this initial line up on the Livenation mailshot last night and had a real "WTF, are they serious?" moment. After last year's great line-up Mrs W and I are very disappointed. sad
