Would love to know if Oh Beautiful is blues, ballad  or rocker?  Anyone know?

It sounds like "Black dog" from Led Zeppelin.

We were listening to the Belgium show that recently was uploaded to DIME. It actually seems like a combination of all three: Blues, ballad and rocker. It starts off with Joe just singing (no music) in a really strong, clear voice "Oh Beautiful, if you were mine. I would write you a love song and pour you sweet wine. Oh Beautiful, why you so Blue? If you could only see the way I see you" then band comes in with strong "Black Dog" style music. Then music stops and Joe sings a capella again "oh gravity (?), weight on my soul. Keeps coming on back to me like dirt to a stone, Oh gravity (?), don't you ever go to sleep? I wake up in the morning...(?) then band comes in again and plays for a while with a solo from Joe in there as well. Then music stops and Joe finishes a capella repeating the first verse. Thought it was a pretty powerful song. Can't wait to see it done and figure out the words a bit better.

Thanks Natasha.   I finally got to see the video.  Really very interesting way to do a song
