Camel - Sheffield City Hall 9th March.

I saw yesterday Joe Bonamassa at Brussels and he was awesome as Always.
On my travels again to Wolverhampton :
Chantel McGregor tomorrow followed by Blackberry Smoke on Wednesday. Pity I couldn't stay a third night for VATA.
I still haven't seen Blackberry Smoke, they got too big, too fast and can't seem to get near enough for a show. Don't know anything about the acoustics at Wulfrun, but do make a point to check out their relatively new keyboard guy, he is really good. Hopefully he won't get lost in the mix, have a great time of it!

Some of their recorded songs are too countryish for me but I knew they would be different live. They didn't disappoint and played for 1 hour 40 minutes. The venue was packed and they got a great reception. I thought they were excellent - they reminded me of The Georgie Satellites in some songs. A band that will grow in popularity, no doubt about that.
08 March - King King @ Royal Irene, Venlo, NL
12 March - Cassie Taylor @ Kulturrampe, Krefeld, DE (hoping that Clemens Bombien will be invited on stage)
13 March - Ian Siegal solo private house concert @ Schinkelhaus, Cologne, DE

I totally agree-one of those bands that you need to see live. I find it hard to compare them to any one band just because they have a nice blend of many. Charlie was very impressive-a good front man.
