Thanks for the chuckle!
I'm always starting to tire of winter by mid February.
This year has been especially harsh in the Chicago area....lots of sub zero weather, including lows down to -20 degrees F, that's right F! Wind chills down to -50 degrees F.

It's ok if you dress for it and aren't outside for too long.
That said, I'm ready for a 60 or 70 degree day...only a few more months, lol.

You got it Bill. This winter has been a tough one here.Just plain tired of it.

Hot water baseboard heater pipe burst last night. Not in a easy spot to reach to facilitate repairs.

What is it about the location of pipe breaks anyway?  Murphy at work?  You have to be a contortionist to get at them.

So a storm surge warning was issued here last night, I live about 20K from the Atlantic.  And a winter storm warning too!  20cm of snow over night and another 15-20 tomorrow.  So about a foot 'na half when it's all said and done.  The 90km/h wind gusts will make it that much more interesting.  Glad I have tomorrow off.

This particular storm is likely the same as what went through New York.

I actually love the winter and the cold. Hate being hot and sweaty. But.....the ice and slush is beginning to wear on me here in NY

- 30 degrees actual temp with windchill warning till noon today. If we get any more snow I will have to hire someone to push back my snow banks, they are over 8 feet tall in some spots. So yes I am tired of winter.

Re: Anyone else tired of winter???

We finally got a taste here. A good 3 day dousing with very heavy winds. Lost some shingles on the roof when what may have been a waterspout off the ocean roared by, downing trees and littering the area with debris+. That is as bad as it gets here. We're thankful for the rain but it's still not nearly what is needed to break the drought.
Full on Spring here now.
