Topic: Jim Suhler's Panther Burn CD

So looking forward to Jim Suhler's CD Release party tonight!
His newest is called "Panther Burn". Named after a town in Mississippi.
I have not heard any of it because because I want to be surprised.

Rockfarmer & his lovely wife will be attending as well.

It's going to be a great night hanging out with some BonaBuds and listening to some awesome musicians.

I only have his Live At Blue Cat Blues album he did with Alan Haynes. I need to listen to more of his music. He was awesome opening for Johnny Winter in 2012 at the Granada.

If you like some Delta, swampy blues…you need to get this CD.
Panther Burn is (for me) a visual CD. Sorry I don't know how else to describe it.

Jim almost choked up talking about his family that is from the area of Panther Burn.
I really think he put a lot of soul in this.

It was a special evening...

That's exactly my plan.
Ordered "Panther Burn" last week when I heard about the new album. Not delivered yet.

@ Bluesdeluxe: give the album Tijuana Bible a listen. It's a fantastic work.
