Topic: BB King Documentary

Tonight on BBC4 at 9.00pm (UK viewers only I'm afraid!). Would be surprised if Joe is not included somewhere in this.

Re: BB King Documentary

Hi Keith, I don't know if Joe actually features in the film but he is in the trailer for the film here.

This documentary film was made in 2012 and I don't recall anyone saying here that BB mentions Joe in it. I'm sure one of our Buddies who's seen it already will be able to confirm.

There is a thread mentioning this evening's entertainment over on the Other Artists Forum usually updated by our good friend Banshee. Check it out at: Friday Night is Music Night on BBC4. I for one will have the recorder set tonight.

it is, - I have recorded it but have only managed to watch the first 20 minutes or so of it today, - and so far it is fantastic, - have to say that I did not realise quite how tough his early life was - what a great man he is to have pulled himself up out of his sorry situation into a true influencer of so much in music.

My YouTube channel with plenty of my Joe's videos dating from 2009 inc his first Hammersmith Odeon ones:

Joe appears about 3 mins in within a collective of people attributing to BB King including Bobby Bland, Carlos Santana, John Mayall, Walter Trout, Bonnie Raitt, Bono, Bruce Willis, Eric Clapton, Aaron Neville and many more.

EDIT: Also 49 mins in, and 59 mins in.
