Re: Joe and Beth Hart
Beth stated during a Q&A on Facebook today that there will be another Joe & Beth mini tour. No details as to where or when, but still good news.
Also, the DVD to be released in "a couple months."
That's excellent news!

Mascot Label Group posted this today on Facebook:
"We've been blasting the mix of Beth Hart and Joe Bonamassa's upcoming live record very loudly in the office today and it sounds SO GOOD!!
A job very well done by Kevin Shirley!"
I asked what month it would be released. This was the reply:
"We will soon unleash more information. Hate to spoil a surprise! It'll be worth it. And if you wait just a little longer you'll find heavenly music isn't only made in heaven..."
If they've been blasting the record then hopefully the cds will be available at the same time as the DVD! So excited for these recordings!!
Joe's biography has been updated with confirmation for a CD/DVD/BLU-RAY release of the Carre in Amsterdam along with other projects to be released this year by J&R...
"In addition to live performances, 2014 will mark four major projects on the J&R release schedule: a live DVD/Blu-ray plus 2-disc companion CD from the neo-funk/jazz combo Rock Candy Funk Party which was filmed over three nights at the legendary Iridium Jazz Club in New York City; a live CD/DVD/Blu-ray with singer Beth Hart filmed at Amsterdam’s famed Carre Theatre last summer while the duo was touring in Europe; and a 4-disc CD package of Tour De Force: Live In London, Bonamassa’s career retrospective recorded and filmed (the DVD/Blu-rays came out in late 2013) at concerts at four iconic London venues. After that, another blues-rock solo album—aka Joe’s “day job”—will follow. “Sometimes journalists just shake their heads, and ask me ‘Isn’t it risky?,’” says Joe. “But I say why not do it? Why play it safe? I want to diversify, not just always have it be business as usual.”

Update: According to DirectCurrentMusic.com the release date for the DVD is 3/25.
Awesome! Thanks for the info
Looking forward to the release of the Carre DVDs and would love to see Joe and Beth tour again.
God, I"d love to see them together
yeah they must be something to see live on the same stage

They are indeed and they're both so mesmorising that it's a problem knowing whether to focus on Joe or Beth.
Cool cover for the DVD...

Ditto!
Looks awesome... and sorry to repeat myself.... but the sound quality gap between this and the RCFP new release, is a long one.... Kevin Shirley, awesome producer... maybe try someone new in the mix desk?
I just listened to the free download "Close to my Fire" and listened to the free download "We Want Groove" right after... speaks for itself . Try it and see what I mean
I just ordered both the DVD and the CD. However, my favorite song of either Beth or Joe's is NOT ON THE DISCS! That was almost a deal breaker for me but since I own everything either artist has released, I have to get it. LOL!
"I Will Take Care of You" is not on the disc - but "Sinner's Prayer" is. The tune "I will take care of you" was the first song I heard and that made me buy everything that either artist has produced - hundreds of songs in the past year since I got out of the hospital (seizures)
I can always re-record the new live show in mp3 and add the "I Will Take Care of You" from the Beacon show but it's a pain and throws off the sound.
PS: go watch Beth Hart live at the Cafe Paradiso in Amsterdam on You Tube. It was a few years ago but she is one great singer. They make a great musical couple.
