Have fun Dean. I have the cd, TORCH .There's a killer track called Pefect World. That's the only track that sticks out for me. Tell the better half Hello.
Jeff: Did you know Joe plays lead guitar on "Mercy Mercy"? Give it another listen....I liked the CD a lot.

I saw Devon and his Honeytribe at the Big Muddy Blues Festival in St. Louis the first weekend in Sept. It was a great show. He looks and sounds a lot like his dad. I have some pics coming soon. Devon and his bass player George were kind enough to announce Joes up-coming show for me during their set. I will post the link to the photos soon.

The CD Torch is great too!

Nope Carl, Did not know that. I have a burned copy so don't have any cover art or inside info. I know the song, it's right before Perfect world, thanks I'll give it another spin.
Hi-
Honeytribe put on an awesome show for the crowd. Devon cam back for an encore with his B3 player and they played "Sweet Melissa". That was special to hear Devon play one of his dad's songs. I had my Sloe Gin shirt on last night and when Devon signed my ticket. He reminded me that Joe played on his album for Mercy Mercy.

Thanks Carl. I'm jamming the cd now. Wifey went shopping. Time to try out these new Klipsh speakers. The second song is great. Santana sounding instrumental. Ok I stand corrected, this is a gem.

Here is a photo of Joe in studio with Honetribe http://s22.photobucket.com/albums/b338/ … dio009.jpg
It was in Ardent Studios in Memphis. The same studio that Bloodline recorded their album in.

I saw HoneyTribe at the Pittsburgh Blues Festival and was impressed immediately.....
The apple don't fall far from the tree.....does it?
Oh, I'm so glad to see some positive vibes for the Tribe!!! This is our favrorite band!! Just saw them again last week. Amazingly, their CD rocks also, and their live stuff is not just a lot of fun but really really good. Dev's put a great band together, like father like son!!
And finally they now do Mercy Mercy on a regular basis. At first they didn't. Boy would it be cool to see Joe pop in and do some songs with them!!
We were noting the other night that we will be sooooo glad when they are not doing some of the ragged bars, you know the kind, that play the awful vibrating music in between sets. That day will be soon! Of course then we'll complain that you can't talk to them anymore, etc, etc. Oh well, can't hardly have it both ways can ya.
I saw them under the stars (ok, it wasn't dark yet, but it was outside...) on a 70 degree night that only Pittsburgh can provide....right Jeff?
Then after a couple of beers, Walter Trout took the stage.
It was a memorable evening Kellie.....

No buddy, I couldn't make it on Saturday. I think Bernard Allison was there that night too?
I was there Friday for WT, and I think I messed up saying I saw HoneyTribe that night. It was Peter Karp...http://www.peterkarp.com/...I liked him a lot man, an awful lot...
I saw HoneyTribe...http://www.honeytribe.com/...on Sunday (man it hurts to think this hard...) with Delbert McClinton.....another favorite of mine that just plain kicked my arse up one side of that venue and down the other.....
But I would have loved to see HoneyTribe on the main stage.....that band is flat out smokin'.....
Are you going to see JB in Greensburg in Nov.?

No can't make it. To far. Sending WT out today. Keep an eye out. There's also an Indigenous show on there as well.

Thanks man.....I'll let you know when it gets here.....
You like John Hiatt? I got some real sweet stuff if you want it.....or anyone else for that matter.....
I got an Indigenous CD from a local DJ years ago.....I think it was their first. I liked it a lot, but lost track over the years. That'll be interesting, thanks.....
