JB.....you need to get in this rotation.....hell, just to play with Taj Mahal.....
Joe was on the Blues Cruise once - 2006 I believe. I don't think it was a positive experience for him from what I recall.
SRV, Ill be there. It'll be my 2nd..Don't think I'll ever NOT go unless I'm too ill..Taj ate breakfast with me once...I hope Roger and Joe work something out for the future, but I'm not holding my breath...too bad....But, I am pushing for a Joe fest down the Mississippi..that would be cool....Cathy
Not going in January, but going in 11 days on the west coast version. My 3rd time and it is one of the best musical sojourns you can ever experience. I was on the cruise Joe was on and it was awesome to see him there. His up close and personal Crows nest show was amazing. I guess we can always hope he comes back, but I don't think it's going to happen. LG

(actually, I picked the hoppin' bastid up in a paper towel, and was the taxi to greener pastures.....no crickets were harmed during this episode.....)

I can't go because I never win the Lottery. I'm down the street in Maryland. I liked the 49ers because that's when I was born (no wise a$s remarks) and my parents got married in Montana....so go Ravens...It is the best time ever!!!! It's the coming down after that's so hard. I require many drugs to prevent sea-sickness, yes I'm a weenie, but for weeks it all seems a blur....that's why I like it so much!! This time I'm going to last for some of the all night jams, even if that means taking an old person style nap in the afternoon. I hate to miss anything and there's always SO much happening....Cathy

SRV..warning..I have never played with people my own age. My X is only 51...I recommend Scop patches and Meclazine...I felt "ify" at times, but there's so much good food that it helped keep me from over indulging. I don't drink because I always get sick, so check with your Doctor about meds that are ok with booze. Some folks just decide not to sleep for days but it was my legs that would quit. I wore a pedometer, just for sh*ts and grins, and logged 22 miles in 2 days..I'm a dancer...so I plan to start "training" before this trip....I have a group of cruise buddies but be cautioned, they're all as unstable as I am..lol...I can't wait.....Cathy

Thanks for the heads up on all the walking.....that "training" ain't a bad idea.....
I think I'll be OK on the seasick thang.....a ship that size can't pitch and yaw as much as that charter did. People came close to being thrown over. I'm still going to take something just in case, and Meclazine was recommended by someone else.....hadn't heard about the patch though.....
I'm seeing JB in Nov. so I'll pick up a shirt that you can look for. I can also email you a pic when we get closer to the date, if you like. Wait, I didn't mean date.....sheesh.....
I'm looking forward to not only the cruise, but also meeting you and all yer goofy buddies.....and maybe a dance lesson.....
I'll be going with the Long Island White Boy, so you'll get to meet my goofy buddy. Myself, on the other hand, am the epitome of decorum.....
