Topic: Filing concert

Hey guys!
I saw joe live in malmö and I forgot to bring my strat neck for him to sign :S
Anyway, if he comes back to sweden, (he damn well better!) can I film the show and watch it at home?

Re: Filing concert

I know he used to have a taping policy on his website- took a quick look around and couldnt find it... but...

I believe Joe's taping policy is that if the venue says its okay you can do whatever- for a video though you need to ask his permission I'm pretty sure

Re: Filing concert

It's on the TOUR DATES page:

Official Joe Bonamassa Taping Policy

"Except where prohibited by venue regulations or a headlining act on a multi-act show, Joe Bonamassa generally allows audio taping and still photography at his live performances. No soundboard feeds will be given and it is the responsibility of audio tapers to bring their own equipment. Still photographers will not be given access to any areas beyond those granted on their ticket. Notwithstanding this policy, all persons attending a performance must comply with the rules and regulations of the venue hosting the performance.
Any and all audio recordings and still photography taped/taken at a live show may be used solely for non-commercial purposes. Any and all audio recordings and still photography taped/taken at a live show shall be considered "works-made-for-hire" for Premier Artists Services within the meaning of the Copyright Act of 1976 and Premier Artists Services will own the copyright and all other rights in and to the work. Selling any audio recording or still photographs taped/taken at shows is illegal and will jeopardize other fans' taping and still photography privileges. Video taping performances is prohibited without the express written consent of artist management. This policy is subject to change at any time without notice so please check www.jbonamassa.com for changes.

While it is not mandatory, Joe would love to hear your audio recordings and see your still photos of his shows. If possible, please send him copies (audio and data CDs only) to: Joe Bonamassa, c/o Premier Artists Services, 2555 Panther Parkway, Sunrise, FL 33323. Please mark all packages as FOR THE ARCHIVES. Packages will not be returned."

Re: Filing concert

Joe's taping policy - http://www.jbonamassa.com/joe_bonamassa … policy.htm - does say that video taping is not allowed without permission. But my understanding is that it depends on the type of filming you plan on doing. A small hand-held video camera is probably OK. I've seen many people using these at Joe's shows. Now if you were to come in with a larger camera, maybe one that is a little more "professional", maybe set on a tripod, etc., then you probably should ask for permission. At least I would.

Re: Filing concert

Im a guitarplayer myself and want to jam along. Whos permission is required to film? Yes im talking filming with a handycam, nothing serious just so I can relive the experience, when I saw him, after two hours I just wish I could relive it!
