Cathy:  Stick around for the next act after your guys...Lower Case Blues...I just saw them twice at the beach last week and they are schhmmmokin'!  If you get a chance, tell Jake (the guitarist) that Carl says "hey" and to enjoy seeing his first Joe show at Scottish Rites next month smile

Carl, I've seen them before. and I get a kick out of the "young uns". (They were heavy into wha-wha last time). I'll make sure to say "Hi" for you.The Buicks are VERY good also. And I like the Del Cats, so I'm going for the entire time!!! I'll post who wins....Cathy

Carl, lower case blues WON! Although I was rooting for my band, it gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling to know young Blues Rockers will be going to Memphis..That'll shake them up!!!! I said "Jake, look at my shirt( Sloe Gin) and tell me who you saw last week that says hi", and he said "Carl"   It was fun....Cathy

smile  Not everyone's cup of tea....Jake's still young and doesn't have a whole lotta cool licks under his belt, yet...but they are fun.  BJ is a great bass player and very entertaining as well...and Paul keeps everything rock-solid with the drumkit....wish I could have played that well at their ages.

Sounds like a great time....

Re: Battle of the Bands 9/29 in Delaware

It was odd, but DSBS handed out ballots at the door. We got there at 4pm and all were gone. Now, I'm a card carrying member, so that wasn't cool. Lower case blues had 3 large tables (there's only about 7 tables there), which meant they got there early and got ballots. But, it will be a great experience. I love the way B.J. plays bass!! Nice young men..Now, it's off to the Baltimore Blues Soc. for the next contest...Cathy   ( Please send me an e-mail so I can get you back in my book..it all got wiped out!!!!)
