Topic: Fox Theather Atlanta 11/22/2013

I had the pleasure of attending Joe's show at The Fox Theater last night.  What a show!  The Acoustic Session was amazing and the Electric was out of this world.

Can't wait to see him again.  It was great, and as an aspiring guitar player, a lesson and an inspiration.

A must see!

Hector

PS. Thanks to Joe and his crew for a great evening!

Glad you enjoyed it.  He is the real deal, and the hardest working man in the music business.

I'd not been in the Fox Theatre since Skynyrd recorded One More From The Road way back in the day, they were preceded those nights by The Outlaws, so it was a huge guitar fest. On this night (second night) it was my first time to see Joe and the band perform. It proved to be another music milestone. The unexpected set with the acoustic band put the whole experience over the top. He's an incredible artist by all accounts if you think about it. Vocalist. Guitarist. Songwriter. Music Historian, and in these specialties he is a role model for aspiring talent. From what I gather, Joe inspires excellence in everyone he works with. Add to that the powerhouse management of J&R and Kevin Shirley, and the rest is history in the making. Each night his audiences enjoy long sessions of deliberate excellence that has been years in the making. Thanks to you Joe, and everyone who makes that happen.

A most excellent review, Ken!!! First time...you never forget it! lol "Unexpected" acoustic set, I hope that has been a product of Joe "news" (likely stale since at least year or month) continuing to be what it has always been, I suppose-"Ya gotta see this guy," mostly by a stream team rambling mumbling bumbling delta of superlatives... big_smile  People have been thoroughly enjoying judging from responses, and, yes, I speak factuality wink

Your historical blurb almost sounds like it could be a foreword for a book... wink
