Sally's avatar got me to thinking........it'd be cool if everyone could get a pic of themselves next to/by a "West on 80" sign and post them on here. Whadda y'all think?

Why don't we eliminate all the warning labels and let things sort themselves out?

I haved a west on 80 picture from when I went to the show in Des Moines last year.  No good at selfies and I was by my lonesome that day.

I would take a pic next time I'm on 80.Don't know if I could get myself in as well.It's a nice idea.Don't know how many peeps here are close enough to do that?

I am nowhere near I-80.  I am near I-8 though.  I could stand by a WEST INTERSTATE 8 sign and I could be the zero myself.

My thought was that most of us travel quite a bit whether to Joe shows, for work or on vacation and at some point  alot of us would come across this artery. It may take awhile to get the pics, but I figure what the hell. I'll try to get mine later today when I go visit my mom.

Too funny to think my pic was a sort of inspiration!  Thanks guido!

But, I also can appreciate the problem of height differences though!  Would need a companion along to take the shot.

West ON (INTERSTATE) 80, Climb ON up to Mountain Time, even if you have to use a step ladder... wink

I think I'd have liked your idea better last summer...now, I'd have to freeze my rear end off to get the shot...  wink
