Topic: Hello from central Texas - Want to get onboard your street team

OMG... I just read your "Wing" post, and I think I am HOME now. I love the "Wing," guys.  I need an outlet for my obsession with all things Bonamassa so I don't drive my family insane. Luckily, I own the house so they can't toss me out - LOL. My 12 year old grandson is following close in my footsteps, but "shush" don't tell anyone. I am new to this forum, however, I have been a Joe fan since 2010. I am not only "Bonabaptised," I am totally infected, and very contagious - LOL.  I have led 15 people to Joe's Facebook page just since the ACL concert. And several people to his Texas concerts, *smiles*... I went to his ACL concert 11/30/13, and already have seats for the San Antonio show at the Majestic... I can barely wait. I love his music and music keeps me living, friends. I'd rather listen to Joe than anything... 

I am doing all that I can out here on my own to promote Joe because I just plain love this man, and he deserves it. If there is more that I can contribute to his cause, just say "when." I bought the DVDs, CDs and I am wearing his shirts, hoodie, and hat - LOL. Everyone I know knows all about Joe. And now, I talk to strangers in Wal-Mart about him... Yes, you could say I am a fan. And, I am not bashful. ;-)

Welcome sleepwalker, you are definitely one of us and will fit in nicely here. Enjoy the topics and conversation, many of Joe's fans here who feel exactly as you.

Welcome Sleepwalker!     Sounds like you found the right place.   Street Teaming is so much fun!  Check out the "Stickies" in the Street Team category here on the Forum and you should be able to get all the information you need , but it sounds like you have started already!

So glad you have got your Grandson coming along for the ride, I have introduced Joe to both the kids and horses in my 4-H club with great results, get them started right!

Check out Joe's  "Keeping The Blues Alive" Foundation, one of the things I really liked about Joe is his heart to give back.  Thru the KTBA Foundation, he raises $$ to buy instruments for schools.

Many thanks to all of you who have welcomed me here... I don't feel quite as weird as I did before... LOL. Music has always been at the core of my life, and I just can't imagine living without it. I don't get "obsessed" with too many artists, but when I find one who has the kind of outstanding talent that Joe has, I just can't help myself. The man has the voice of an angel one minute, and then he gets a little rough... and that's really exciting.  Besides being very handsome, and having the golden voice, he plays the guitar like no one I have heard before him. I also love the songs he writes. They speak of things that sometimes rip me to my very soul. He is truly a very deep, complicated, and extremely talented man. I doubt if any of us can begin to realize the true measure of this man. He is still in the early stages of what looks to be a very successful career. I hope to help him in any way possible to move rapidly toward all of the success he so deserves. He is a very unique artist in many ways, and it makes him shine above the others. Joe is not out to walk on other people to gain his success. He is earning it on his own, one step and a time. I think one day his name will be as well known as Eric Clapton... and perhaps more.
