"I noticed my mouth was open for the first 20 minutes and then I realized I was just dumbstruck by Joe's talent" -- I quoted my brother, lifelong guitar player, who attended the concert with me. This was his reaction upon seeing Joe Bonamassa live for the first time.

The 45 minute acoustic set was a nice glass of wine before dinner only to be rocked outta my seat by the stunning skill, talent and artistry that was the electric set that followed.

Mr. Bonamassa, thank you for traveling to my neck of the woods on a rather chilly holiday weekend (Black Friday).

Already planning my next live show.

Nothing better than seeing Joe live! I have been to two shows and have two more lined up for next year! He's simply amazing!

Exactly! Can't get enough of his wonderful playing, singing and compositions. I'm looking forward to my 7th concert in Frankfurt end of February 2014!

That's awesome! Yes, nothing is better than that! Got to experience front row for the first time last month and thought I had died and gone to heaven! HAHA Good times!

Re: Corpus Cristi November 29, 2013

The two shows I picked for the Fall tour extravaganza were Corpus and Austin. Corpus was a concrete sterile looking 80's era theater. The heat was unable to take the chill off the unseasonably cool day. Joe took care of that. Sound was good even though the room looked hard and possibly harsh sounding. The acoustic set was crisp and clear followed by the unbelievable tone of the arsenal of vintage Les Pauls. The Dumbles sure make a world of difference. The addition of Derek although has been panned in earlier reviews I found to be an interesting change. No accordion on the acoustic set but I'm not much of an accordion fan. Lenny was off the hook as he added all the right touches and combined with Tal to make one interesting drum solo. I love the new combined show.

I love your brother's quote.  How true.   Dumbstruck and Awestruck.  Exactly what happens and why we want more.
