Topic: Help gathering info on magazines Joe has been in

I was looking through my "library" of magazines for a song for a student and found the January 2005 Guitar One issue.  In the left hand margin of the cover it says, "Blues Lessons, Joe Bonamassa and Albert Cummings.  I guess I forgot about this one.  The article is entitled, "Blues Explosion - A Private Lesson with Joe Bonamassa".  Anyway, it was good to read again.  I got thinking, what magazines/issues has Joe been in?  I'll start with some I know and I'll add more to it later after I go through my collection in my studio.  Please, if anyone knows of any magazines Joe has been in, add them.  I would really appreciate it.  Even if it is a small article.

Guitar One - November 2002 - The New Guitar Heros - 10 Players you must know
Guitar One - January 2005 - Blues Explosion - A Private Lesson with Joe Bonamassa
Guitar Edge - (In my studio)
Vintage Guitar - (In my studio)

Blues Review Magazine from maybe 6 months ago. (Joe is on the cover)
Guitar Player Mag. had a short feature on him maybe a year ago. (Warren Hayes is on the cover)
Guitar World Mag. had a short feature on him also, about a year ago, not sure who is on the cover.

rpic,
Thanks so much!  Including who was on the cover should help me track down the issues I do and don't have.

Hi Fret..The Blues Review issue is #102 oct/nov 2006..You can order back issues on-line. I highly recommend subscribing to this magazine for many reasons. Chip Eagle is the Publisher and a true supporter of Joe's. He says all music is the blues. He's also an outstanding human being!!!!! Every other issue comes with a CD sampler. I always learn something new from them.   Cathy

Firstly a big thanks to Jane H for helping me with my avatar.

Joe has featured in a couple of "Guitarist" magazines. I will scan my collection for dates. It was this very magazine that introduced me to Joe after they featured him in a free DVD with the mag. I still smile when I watch it as this young man has a sublime talent.

Peace and jam

I've heard of including CDs in mags, but not DVDs that's really cool.  I was also introduced to Joe through a magazine.

In the Dutch magazine:" Gitarist " from August 2007 there is a very nice 3  pages interview with the bluesbrothers Joe Bonamassa and Scott Mckeon when they toured together in England.
The interview was held in Shepherd's Bush in London just before the show.
Unfortunately it's in Dutch.

In the magazine "Revolver" September 2007 there is on page 60 an interview with Joe about Sloe Gin. In Dutch too. This magazine follows Joe for the last years consequently, are a big fan of Joe.
Fretwork if you want a copy I can send you one by post., need your address then. Can do that on my private email address if you want.
Not so good with computers to email and scan all articles.

IN the September 2007 magazine  "Aardschok" CD review of Sloe Gin. Last words: What a talent!! In Dutch.

Have a nice day,
Andre Wittebroek.
