I have to admit Rocket that your picks could all go the other way judging by the way this season has been up and down for many teams. Can't wait to see the results. Gutsy calls on SD & NYG! NO looks like the safe bet. At the start everybody thought SF would pick up where they left off last season, but sum ting wong here!!!

Yeah, it definitely is weird times in the NFL.  It always is in November, but this year has been making me wonder again what the deal is...I don't like some things.  Maybe it's the ridiculosity of sports media getting to me in my old age...but the parity seems so (almost unbelievably) real, at times it seems almost scripted.

I predicted to my friends I watched the game with that ATL surprisingly would jump out to a lead, but NO would roar back to win in the 2nd half. If only they were all that easy.....NOT!!! A friend in Hawaii asked me for a prediction on the Bama/LSU game, I threw out 38-17, nailed it. Maybe it's time to wager a few bucks!

I gotta say that the Charger game yesterday was a nice change from a long string of what ifs and single-play outcomes. Cold weather, good team and adverse place to play. Could this be the turnaround we've been missing? Nah but we'll take it.
