According to this article the Joe/Beth DVD won't be released till next year. Darn. Would have been perfect for Christmas gifts.

I guess 2013 is not the year of the DVDs but the year of DVDs recordings.....

"The working chemistry between Hart and Bonamassa is undeniable. Both artists' styles complement each other in extraordinary ways. "He is so radical, man. The thing to me is that he thinks of himself as this nerd. He has no idea of how sexy and radical he is. He's so brilliant of mind, so intelligent, and he uses both sides of his brain, which I find you don't see a lot in artistry. Obviously, they say, the left-brain is the most creative part, but you can see examples of people that are solely right-brained users for creativity. He definitely does both. He works his **** off. He's been a huge influence on my career. He's really helped me so much, which I love him for. But I also love him simply because he's fantastic." - Beth Hart

That was another great article on Beth. Thanks for posting the link. I forever marvel at how Beth has been able to persevere through all her darkness and what an amazing attitude she has about it all. She is so inspirational. When I think of the manic depressives that I used to work with and how debilitating that illness can be it is so wonderful to see someone who has come through it all and is thriving. Way to go Beth!

Saw Joe and Beth in London and it was one of those really great concerts. Hampton Court Palace was also the perfect setting. Did you guys get to see them together in the States? I can't remember whether they only played in Europe??
Only in Europe. I believe just 5 dates but one was captured on DVD if I remember correctly. Carre'?

I'll definitely be getting the DVD when it comes out - their encore version of I'd Rather Go Blind is something I won't forget in a long time...hardly a dry eye in the house!

Joe just tweeted about the DVD two days ago:

Really looking forward to that DVD. Those two shows in Amsterdam were some of the best concerts we had ever been to. The music and level of energy were just beyond!

Yep the Carre was filmed - both nights and both nights were amazing. I think Caveman preferred the second night per his FB posts so I expect the DVD will be night two. The solos were really over the top that night...with Arlan standing on his keyboard at one point. I agree with Bluemac, the encore I'd Rather Go Blind was particularly emotional on night two.
We need Joe and Beth to tour the US! It would take the country by storm.

Beth stated during a Q&A on Facebook today that there will be another Joe & Beth mini tour. No details as to where or when, but still good news.
Also, the DVD to be released in "a couple months."
