Topic: Louisville, KY show last night

Saw Joe at the Palace Theater in Louisville last night. He did the 1 hour acoustic show and then a 1-1/2 hour electric show. Absolutely phenomenal! He even brought Greg Martin, lead guitarist for the KY Headhunters, on stage to jam. I noticed that Carmine Rojas had an eye patch over his left eye. Does anyone know why?

Welcome conman007! Glad you enjoyed the show I thought it was phenomenal myself smile  I'm still absorbing it all and was going to ask about Carmine's eye patch as well. He was wearing the patch when we saw him at Lexington Opera House in April 2010. If memory serves me correct he had had a recent eye surgery. I am assuming it may be something along those lines now.

Re: Louisville, KY show last night

Hey Everyone!  This was my 4th JB show, and he amazed me once again!  I do want to ask everyone if he stayed after the show for pics and autographs.  Every show we have been to previously he came out to the back of the venue about 30 minutes after he finishes performing and talked to anyone and everyone that was out there.  We were out there no later than 5 minutes after the encore ended, and were told by the security guards he was already on the bus and gone.  Does anyone know if he did indeed stay after?  It just doesn't seem like him to do that, however I know he had another show the following day in Knoxville, and I definitely can't blame him for wanting to get out of there, as I am sure he is exhausted with his crazy schedule....

He's definitely cut back on that old routine. So many roads... Sorry you missed him but by all reports that was an amazing gig.

Yes, he was gone as soon as he left the stage.  We parked by the back of the theatre and all buses had left when we got to the car.
