Re: Louisville Palace November 5

Still not sure what time we are going to get out of Lexington depending on what time Jimmy can get away from work. Found out this week one of my friends will be going to see Joe for the first time always look forward to that moment after the show when they say "that was amazing" and I get to say "I told you so" Hoping to get there early but may be as late as 7:00. Will post as soon as I can figure it out! Our seats are Orchestra 1 Row G on the aisle. Will be wearing my new Tour de Force tshirt.  Looking forward to seeing everyone! Everybody travel safe!!

Enjoy Lizzee. We're sitting in that ghost seat right along side of you. Been a while since our corporeal selves were adjacent but trust me, we're there. Rock it hard tonight, a report tomorrow of blissful blues nigh midnight will be oh so cool. (the better half asked if we had any reservations made for the 3 show road trip in FOUR WEEKS! Nope, better  get on that right quick.)

Yay, another fan from the BBN! I lived in Lexington for 10 years and still visit family there. I miss it, but luckily I can keep up with all the Wildcat action from Iowa via satellite TV. smile Looks like the team this year is going to be great. Ok, thread hijack complete -- I hope the concert in Louisville tonight is a blast! I'll be there in spirit.

Re: Louisville Palace November 5

Just back from the show. No words.  Joe proved again he is 100 percent the best. More to follow.  Set list almost same. Guest was Greg martin

Re: Louisville Palace November 5

Well not only was that the best concert I've ever been to, but I totally acted like a ten year old girl seeing Justin bieber for the first time when I met Joe. The meet and greet is honestly a blur I do remember saying I loved him though. Some things you just can't hold back. All in all I am on cloud 9 and just can't get over how spectacular of a performer Joe is. Simply amazing. Oh and Mary it was so nice meeting you and glad to see your socks came to good use wink

Re: Louisville Palace November 5

Oh would also love to post videos but the dang security guard was on our backs all night and if we had our cameras up for more than two seconds he was tapping our shoulders! Then only bad thing about the night

Re: Louisville Palace November 5

Superb! Perfect in every way! Kentucky Head Hunter Greg Martin guest on O'er Yonders Wall, excellent! You could tell Joe was having fun, the crowd was really into to it. Will be back to post more tomorrow, must get sleep 10+ hour work day starts early tomorrow.

I have a feeling this is what Joe's tweet about the security guards at the Palace was about? I hope he gets on the Palace about this, they should all know going into the show video is allowed! I think I had it out with the same guy a few weeks ago at the Steve Winwood show. There's rarely video from Kentucky shows that I've been to and this is why, they're still in the 80's and think no one allows it! Thanks for trying, hopefully someone else had better luck. I'm not very good at pictures so I know I could never do video!

Re: Louisville Palace November 5

Yes I saw Joe tell the security guy something after the encore... the guy was not pleasant at all and also kept walking in front of us all night. Oh well didn't stop me from having the most fun I've ever had at a concert! I got a 1 min clip I will try and post soon

Sorry to hear about your issues with the security guards. I know how irritating it can be. We had that at the Beacon shows last spring. Interesting how venues can be from one extreme to the other. Cleveland had no security and people kept sauntering down right to the stage talking out loud and taking photos, blocking other people's views. They didn't have photo passes either. And then at yours it sounds like a police state. A happy medium would be nice.

Glad you got a chance to meet Joe (nice photo in your avatar) and it sounds like you were still able to have a great time smile

Re: Louisville Palace November 5

I'm not trying to be a complainer by any means, I still had an amazing time, and in all reality he had me in such a trance I only thought about recording something once or twice. I was just enjoying the show! A happy medium would be great though for next time!

You don't sound at all like a complainer smile Really like the photo you posted on facebook of the hug you got from Joe. So cool that you got a picture of it. He was probably delighted to finally see a young woman as a fan, since he generally attracts an older crowd wink

Re: Louisville Palace November 5

Still processing it all.  Only difference in set list was no Richmond or someday after awhile!  Meet and greet was all I dreamed.  More later.  Erin you are the bomb
