Topic: New lithograph! "Headstock"

http://www.jbonamassa.com/merchandise/b … Lithograph

100 available.  Comes with 2 tickets and a M&G as usual.

Interesting picture.  Love it.

I'm addicted.

Re: New lithograph! "Headstock"

That was used on a t-shirt back in 2009.  This was always a favorite picture.  I still have the t-shirt (two actually) so I'll have to settle for those - just dropped a bundle on the DVD's and I am tapped out for now.

Curious why they used this - there are so many amazing photos of Joe out there.

Re: New lithograph! "Headstock"

I wonder also why they don't use a true photo. Something clear and stunning. I would like that a lot better than pictures that appear photoshopped with funky distortions. I guess different strokes for different folks.

Re: New lithograph! "Headstock"

I think that the photo simulates the checking on an old guitar, or maybe not.

Maybe it's an office pool to see what doesn't sell out the day of release. big_smile This one doesn't do much for me and like Sandy, I've got that tee.

I actually like the picture a lot, and remember wishing it was available as a poster, but I don't like it $499 worth.  I would love to see a contest where several pictures/designs are chosen and the fans got to vote for their favorite for the next one.

Remember the litho purchase comes with 2 tickets to a concert plus M&G.

Re: New lithograph! "Headstock"

Yes, so the way I figure it, if you assume 2 normal good seats would run you $250, that leaves $250 to cover the "value" of the litho + M&G.  One way to evaluate whether it's worth it to you.

If my walls weren't covered by lithos already I'd be jumping on that bargain so if it appeals to you nab it. Great seats are increasingly tough to score and with prices going up a hold for a future gig is an even better deal. Just didn't appeal to me. I like the photos. I felt the same about the Litho from the gold ticket for London package, which was more of a high grade poster and came unframed in a tube. Just a personal preference.

Re: New lithograph! "Headstock"

Brought up in another thread, but can anyone shed light on the usual location of litho seats?  If they are not almost guaranteed to be up front then that's a big drawback.

Sally, I just emailed Tamara for an explanation of the seats.

I'll report back when I get a reply.

I already have seats, and they're not awful, but if I could be asured they're first couple rows, I'll buy the lithograph and sell my current tickets.

Purchase of a Litho does not guarentee a front row seat.....I think it's the luck of the draw what's available...I.M.O.

I wouldn't say some of us want something for nothing.  I considered the worth of the tickets, and even the frame costs a lot so I understand the price.  I just spent a similar amount of cash on the Tour de Force box set with tickets - that is something I could use, and I did the same figuring there for tix value/DVD value etc and decided it was a decent deal.  Maybe it's a matter of shrinking cash flow at the moment.  I also don't have room on the walls for something this large.

By the way, did I mention I do love this picture?  Anyone who buys it will certainly enjoy it.

Sandy

Sally - I used litho voucher tix in May - seats were in the 8th or 9th row, not bad but certainly not pit seats.  Someone else who used litho voucher the same show was in the pit so I honestly don't know how they determine who sits where with these things.  The litho ended up at my sons house because it was too big for my wall space.
